Festival chic

July 23, 2015

If you ever get an invitation for a wedding with the dresscode: “Festival chic”, just say “yes” like you are the bride herself.

It is the perfect dresscode for hot summer nights just because it isn’t perfect. Your hair has not to be the same as on the latest Harpers Bazaar cover, and you’re heels are not supposed to be as clean as they were when you bought them at the store. Mix and match those accessoires, and you are wedding proof! When I found this top and shorts at the H&M store, I knew that it was meant to be. The pin stripe gives the loose hanging top an elegant touch. But, when my mother asked me if I bought myself a new set of pajamas, I was sure that I had to match this top and shorts with a pair of simple but elegant heels. Fine by me! The accessoires I am wearing, are from a small shop in Antwerp. If you are ever in doubt with your outfit, just because you think it’s boring, than spice it up with some gold (not to much, less is more!)

I had a great night and was satisfied with the complete outfit (and guess what, no one asked me if I was looking for a bed, or, they were just trying to be nice). 🙂

H&M – top, shorts
ZARA – heels
ZARA – fringe jacket
Tequila (small shop in Antwerp) – feather bracelet, ring, earrings
& Other stories – necklace, bracelet
De Bijenkorf – sunglasses
